Islamorada Sportfishing Charters

The bottom line is we love to catch fish! We are not happy with just getting by, and just good enough. We are not "clock watchers" and we are simply more concerned with you becoming a repeat customer than we are with you only fishing with us for the day. We build our business around repeats and referrals, and our hard work and dedication will undoubtedly reflect on our level of success! We refuse to go for "boat rides", and will stop at nothing to ensure you get what you pay for. MOST IMPORTANTLY, WE WILL HAVE FUN and do everything in our power to ensure you have a truly memorable day on the water!

Since we are in the "Sportfishing Captital of the World", you can expect to have a great time while going fishing! Species vary season by season, so depending on what time of year you are coming, will depend on what we catch. Take a look at the types of trips we offer, and then give us a shout and let us know what you would like to target. We are always here to answer any questions that you may have, and are happy to do so!

Florida Bay and the Gulf Fishing

Fishing in the Florida Bay and Gulf of Mexico is normally very exciting and action packed! There are many different species we fish for in these areas including Groupers, Snappers, Mackerels, Cobia, Permit, and sharks of all species. This type of fishing is generally done on anchor, but on occasion we will drift or sight fish for certain species that we are targeting. Due to the nature of the "green" or "dirtier" water, this type of fishing will present top water and sight fishing opportunities that are hard to find on the Atlantic side. Another bonus to this trip is that the areas we fish are very spread out, which means the fishing pressure is at a minimum. This fishery is a very "conditions" based fishery, which means it doesn't always make sense to make the run into the "back". This type of fishery is best during the cooler months of the year, and is often a great decision to make with a hard East to Southeast wind during the winter months...

Offshore Islamorada Fishing

When we use the term "offshore", we are referring to gulfstream fishing, which usually is found in depths of 400 feet and greater. In Islamorada this means that you are typically at least 12 miles from shore, which puts you out of sight of land. There are a variety of species as well as tactics found in this particular fishery. The most common fish being pursued are dolphin(mahi-mahi), wahoo, blackfin and skipjack tuna, as well as amberjack. However, there are billfish lurking in these waters such as sailfish, blue marlin, white marlin, and spearfish. These species are less common, however, there is a chance for lucky fisherman to hook into these elusive and exciting fish. We have a variety of sharks found in these deeper waters, the most common being tiger and mako sharks...
